Lecien

I have a fair few fabrics by Lecien even though they aren’t super easy to find in the states. Their colors and textures are just out of this world. There are some new collections on this web site and I have no idea where to get them (especially the Chuck Nohara treasure box ones) but that could be a good thing since I have more fabric than I can hope to store.

The above block is one that I made for the Baltimore album quilt…looking at it now I can hardly believe I completed this. I think I must have been nuts.

Hello Marissa,
Try this site http://www.fabricsoftheworld.com/
They have Daiwabo fabrics in a fat quarter pack.
There is another store at http://www.homespunhearth.com/ They sell the Daiwabo Taupe Tranquility Collection and it is so beautiful.
I love your Blog!

Hi Otaku,

I am also very interested in making Japanese style quilt. Also I am in the bay area. Could you share where you purchase the Japanese fabrics in the bay area? I have trouble finding them...and got really frustrated. It ends up with I am buying some US fabric and not using them...:(
