And that coin purse is just the cutest - you'll have lots of fun with them and they will be such a special reminder of your visit.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05578906262073646500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5896798961858705897.post-5180248084841369962012-07-28T18:40:39.594-07:002012-07-28T18:40:39.594-07:00Hi Marisa,
Thanks for posting all the great photos...Hi Marisa,
Thanks for posting all the great photos of your shop visits while in Japan. I too am envious, would love to visit many of these shops some day, but especially Quilt Party.
I carry books from many Japanese designers/authors on my website, but Yoko Saito's books are always the top sellers. She does amazing work. I have been fortunate to see a few of her quilts in Houston at quilt market. They are, as you say, amazing to see in person.Stevenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06022843432830788973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5896798961858705897.post-28516534420283893662012-07-28T18:39:54.891-07:002012-07-28T18:39:54.891-07:00Hi Marisa,

I am jealous! I am also a huge fan of her work and I have collected most of her books (many of them due to your reviews / recommendations on your blog). That coin purse is very interesting. I saw something similar in one of the Japanese quilting magazines earlier this year. I can't remember if it was Quilts Japan or Patchwork Quilts Tsushin, but the pictures (as I can't read the directions) weren't easy to follow. When you make one, would you please take some pictures and explain the process on your blog. I would love to see how it's made. Although I don't comment often, I always read and enjoy your blog posts. Best Regards and Happy Stitching!
