My favorite new tool for paper piecing is this cool disolving paper backing, so no need to rip off any paper, just soak in a bowl of water after you're done.I have not tried the dissolving tape yet, for doing larger blocks and joining a couple pieces of paper, but I think that might be pretty cool.
This book by Anita Grossman Soloman is what I used to make the baby quilt that is the header banner for my blog.
