Our son is about a month over 2 yrs old now, and we gave him his first haircut this morning.
We visited Balloon Cuts, and they did a very nice job. There were plenty of TV's to be watched, and a Jeep chair to sit in, so our little guy really loved it.
He looks like such a little boy now, with no trace of our little baby left. I miss his baby ringlets and will surely cry my eyes out later, after he goes to bed.
I suppose they grow up all the same, whether nor not you want them to.

I think we're doing the first haircut this week. I do not want to lose the ringlets but he really needs one.
ReplyDeleteYour post reminds me of photos I have of my son's first haircut. He's now almost 17, but back in the day his grandfather got a shaver out "buzzed" him while the family pets gathered around... I don't think he's cut his hair for 3 years now...
ReplyDeleteOMG.... I am putting off our first haircut.... You are so very brave.

He still looks like a little cutie, if not a little baby. Quilt Pixie... I am in your shoes, with a 16 year old son who has not cut his hair in 3 or more years, but how well I remember those first cuts and how hard it was to start letting them grow-up. Sigh....
