This weekend, the Tokyo quilt show started, and will continue through the week and into next weekend.
For all the business travel I've been doing, I cannot seem to get myself to Japan during this magical weekend.
Yesterday I took my todler son to this quilt shop that I usually don't visit often. They have some very nice repro's, especially for a California quilt shop, so I drove over just to get out of the house.
I was in good luck in going over there as they just got their giant shipment of Japanese taupes and yarn dye fabrics. I was of course in heaven.
My goal is to create a quilt that Yoko Saito would think is cute.
