Going home...

Today I leave Austin Texas to return to my home in San Jose.

It's been an awesome week (business wise) and I managed to get a tiny bit of quilting done at night so that was my non- business win for the week.

Whenever I travel, I like to pack a ton of jewelry with me. It makes me feel a bit more "normal" I guess. Living out of a hotel room is no fun, but if I have my favorite necklaces with me it sorta makes me feel like I'm closer to normal operating mode (read "home"). I know...it's very strange.

Looking forward to getting home tonight!

Marisa, I had no idea you lived so close to me! I work in Sunnyvale and live near San Jose. The weather here has been great... must be welcoming you home!

I just had a "duh" moment and realized that there are more than one San Jose's in the world. I'm near the one in CA. Now I just feel a little silly. Love that fabric!
