Vote Early, Vote Often

As Al Capone recommended...Vote Early, Vote Often.

Personally, I did the former by sending my vote in through the mail ages ago. Looking forward to my friend Julie's election party later tonight.

Personally, I would love to hold my own little blog-election. Please comment and vote!

If you could make only 1 quilt pattern for the rest of your life...using whatever fabrics you like...what pattern would it be?

Let's see who would get elected. Personally, I have to vote for the 9 patch.

Three cheers for democracy. On a day like today, I'm thankful for those who have come before us to create and defend it.

Hi Marisa! Happy voting day! Quiltwise, my vote for the quilt to make for the rest of my life would be the log cabin.

I'd make string quilts for the rest of my life -- lots of possibilities!

If I had to piece it would be the pinwheel block, it's my all time favorite. But for applique...there's no way I could choose. :)

While I love the 9 patch too, I'd have to say Log cabin because of it's versatility!

ok. this is a foreign language to me but, I did some research. is quarter circle a pattern? because I liked the one I saw. I also love the pattern you did for your new niece! I also really like those japanese ones with trees. not sure if that's a pattern though.

but I think I just threw my vote out because I've voted for a total of 3 things of which I know nothing about.

: (
at least I did well in the OTHER election today!!!!

Chalk up another nine patch lover. I love baskets, log cabins, applique, but nine patches are my favorite.

charm - probably square shape.
I could do one in each color, 1 in novelties, 1 in taupes, etc.

I've already done 2 using cat prints.

& I theoretically will do one for the Millenium. :o)

Nine patch in all it's varied wonderfulness. Always fun and always a delight when finished.

Ohh... well, I haven't started quilting yet (though I can feel it getting closer), so I'm not sure on what pattern, but the fabrics... well that's easy - some fabulous Japanese textiles!
