I love the Victorian era, and the album quilts that came from it. You remember my old Baltimore Album...the eternal 'in progress' quilt.
In honor of that, I was thinking that adding some silhouettes of the babies to the recent baby quilts that I made as part of the label. Does that sound like a cool idea? I'll need to get a photo of my sister's baby from her, but I think it would be kinda cool.
I was also thinking of making a collection of my husband, me, and the boys to put up on the wall. Wondering if we should do them with (see above) or without the tongues sticking out...

Oh it's an excellent idea! Check out the quilts of Elly Sienkiewicz and any of her books! She does them in all her quilts. Some from drawings and some oil paints and some done in ultra suede, which look lovely and nothing to turn under! Google her name and you'll get lots!

My mom has one of these of me in an old fashioned oval frame from when I was around 3 years old. I can't remember where she got it done but I always thought it was so neat.
I love the idea for a label. I had to go back and look at your Baltimore, especially when you referred to it as an eternal project. I'm in the same boat and it's not the inking but the ideas that's stalling me.
I love the idea of having your portraits on the wall with your tounges sticking out. It will make you and everyone who ever looks at it smile every time. I would hesitate doing it too, but I think it's actually really cute :)
I saw this fantastic pendant on Etsy and thought of this post. It's not quite as large but, if you can't commit to tongue-out, you could pick one of these up for a fun alternative.
